General Manager is appointed by, and reports to the Board of Directors.
The community encompasses portions of La Grange and Coulterville, which overlaps Mariposa and Tuolumne County. Water is pumped from Lake McClure and blended with ground water before treating it and pumping it into our distribution system with over 1,400 service connections. The District is minutes away from two of California’s most beautiful lakes – Lake Don Pedro and Lake McClure. Fishing, boating, and water skiing are just a few of the fun things you can do in the area. In addition, Yosemite is just a 45 minute drive away.
The District is governed by a five member Board of Directors, who are elected at large from within the District, to serve four year terms. The Board holds regular monthly meetings on the 3rd Monday at 1:00 PM at the District office, 9751 Merced Falls Road, La Grange. All meetings are open to the public and all customers are encouraged to attend meetings to voice their concerns and input. All Board meeting agendas and supporting documents are posted on the Board Meeting page.
