All twelve water samples taken from the system in the areas affected by the Laredo water main break came back NEGATIVE for bacterial contamination!   This means the water in this portion of the system is clean and safe.  While this is excellent news and exactly what we expected, the state is making us wait until we have water sample results from the area of the Ranchito water main break, before we can lift the "do not drink" order.   The state wants us to lift the DO NOT DRINK order throughout the affected areas all at once, to avoid any confusion among customers.  We are sorry for another delay, as all of our work has gone perfectly.   Please check back tomorrow and hopefully this will ALL be over.  Thank you for your patience.
